MONGOLIA Adventure Tour
Mongolia is a country full of diverse and beautiful landscapes, from mountains and vast steppes to huge freshwater lakes and deserts. If you’re an adventurer or adrenaline enthusiast, you’ve come to the right place. Our trip to Mongolia offers a journey full of great views, mysterious places and meetings with the descendants of Genghis Khan. During our trip you will travel by car, on horseback and on a camel. You will meet real nomads, including real shamans, listen to the traditional music of descendants of Genghis Khan, and sleep in Mongolian yurts. You will indulge in reflection in Buddhist temples, look at the starlit sky at night, admire wild steppe horses or browse in the crystal-clear waters of the lakes there. There is also time for swimming in hot springs – real relaxation for the body and senses. In other words, you’ll experience unspoiled nature and discover places where life has not changed for hundreds of years.
The route will lead us from high mountains with eternal snow to the sands of the Gobi desert. During our expedition we will reach all the most important places in Mongolia. Altai Mountains, for millennia inhabited by Kazakhs and their eagles with whom they hunt hares and foxes. Kazakh boys start learning to hunt very early, building strength that in the future will allow them to keep a heavy bird.
Another attraction that we will see are the great lakes compared to Baikal. Sacred places of Tibetan lamas and Mongolian shamanism. Ruins of historic strongholds and settlements.
With a bit of luck, we’ll see a place where, according to the latest research, the grave of Genghis Khan can be hidden from the world for centuries. Legend has it that hundreds of horses were rushed for several months at the site of Khan’s grave so that there was no trace of burial. After all, all people who participated in the funeral and people who had contact with them were killed. And so to this day 100% certainty is nowhere this great leader rested. Recent studies indicate a certain place but it is closely guarded by the tribe living in the area who must agree to enter this area.
Like Mongolian nomads, we will traverse the endless steppe and enter the volcanic crater. We will visit the famous Naadam summer festival where up to 1000 horses race in the surrounding meadows. And finally, of course, the famous Gobi desert. Gobi is not only a “big sand mountain” but also a place of occurrence of very rare and often endemic representatives of fauna and flora. And so, for example, Gobi is one of the few places in the world where the last bactrian camels live in the wild.
You can also meet Gobi bears – Mazaalai, this is a variation of the blue Tibetan bear. The population of these very rare and mysterious animals is estimated at only about 50 individuals …..
Snow Leopards are another unique representative of the gobian fauna – a quarter of the world’s population of this cat lives in Gobi. And of course dinosaurs, that’s where eggs and other dinosaur fossils were found. Over a month of great adventure awaits us, full of beautiful landscapes and mysterious places.
